yours to convince me why getting the latest piece of gadgedtry or
technology every time I turn around (other than the lack of financial
means!) is not such a great idea. PS of course I have both an HTC
Supersonic (Evo 4G) and a Samsung Galaxy S Epic 4g, so you could
effectively label me a high end cell phone junkie! cheerio!

OMG your post is hilarious from one technophile to another except I'm wishing I could get a Samsung Galaxy Tab, not a pen. Of course, I have no use for a Tablet whatsoever except for the "wow that's so cool" factor. this is so sad to hear christian - so sad....I'm going to do a follow up post for how I have found a solution for keeping my pen attached to the notebook - I'll send you an email or reply to your disqus when I find some time to update this post.

after I wrote this blog post a good friend sent me his 1 gig livescribe that he wasn't using - and I almost LOST it for good - it also was lost inside my car for 2 months - I was so mad at myself thinking that I had lost TWO livescribe pens!

I too lost my pen. TWICE. This time it is probably gone for good. I thought I left it in a colleagues car who was gone on corporate training for a month. When he came back I HAD to scavange through his car, just to give me piece of mind. Many weeks later I FOUND IT sitting in the middle of the car floor under the passenger seat of my wife's car. I had to move the seat all the way forward. When I looked down, there is was sitting in the middle of the floor. Do you know how many times I looked there and felt under the seat???

But this time, I think it fell out of my briefcase bag. Bummer. From what I hear online about the new version of pens, I am thinking twice about purchasing a new pen.

You are right on the money about needing to sear in your brain that this pen is freaking expensive and NOT TO LOSE IT!
